Mihaela Marija Perković

Mihaela Marija Perković is a Croatian writer, SF fan and owner of Savarakatini Ltd., a micro business which makes it money writing, be it technical, promotional or copywriting. Through Savarakatini, she has also launched a very successful workshop “PR in Startups”, which has so far been taught in Croatia, Slovenia and Serbia. Perković has worked with a number of startup incubators and accelerators, namely Impact Incukabor of the Zagreb Impact Hub and of the Belgrade Impact Hub as well as with the ABC Accelerator in Slovenia. Savarakatini is a member of CISEx, of Virtualni ženski poduzetnički centar and was actively involved in the marketing and launch of Aurora.hr, a Croatian portal for female entrepreneurs funded by the US Embassy.

Dragana Tomic Pilipovic

Dragana Tomić Pilipović is the founder and executive director of the Centre for Socially Responsible Entrepreneurship - CDOP (www.cdop.rs) with more than 20 years of experience in the field of organization development, strategic human resource management and mentoring support to individuals in finding and realizing their personal potential, particularly in the areas of entrepreneurship and personal development. Since 2010, she leads the organization CDOP, which main goals are to inform, educate and encourage sustainable development and social entrepreneurship. She founded the Rural HUB (www.ruralhub.rs) in the village Vrmdža, Sokobanja with the aim of empowering villages through the social economy and entrepreneurship. Her passion is encouraging and supporting female entrepreneurship, particularly in rural areas.

Ante Lucic

Ante is an entrepreneur and consultant who returned to Croatia after obtaining substantial professional and academic experience abroad. He first graduated from an international high school in Damascus, Syria, after which he lived in Germany, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in International Politics and History from Jacobs University Bremen, and later a Master in Law and Business from Bucerius Law School and WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management in Hamburg and Vallendar, respectively. He published several scientific papers on international relations, security, and counterterrorism. Since 2013 Ante has been leading A-Link, a career and education consultancy, helping many individuals plan their careers and enrol in study programs abroad, and on the other hand advising schools and universities on marekting, mobility, career centers, and matters pertaining to academic competitiveness as well as the future of work and education. Ante is a co-author of UP - Učenici poduzetnici, a practical entrepreneurship program for pupils, and a founder of Cronnect.me - a platform which c(r)onnects Croatian start-ups with potential investors from the Croatian Diaspora. Lastly, Ante is also a co-founder of Kampus.hr, an online portal specialized in education and career development. He currently lives in Zagreb, Croatia, and when he does not empower individuals and/or organizations, he plays in a funk/rock band, takes photos, does research, and enjoys playing with his 1-year old son.

Miro Hegedic

Miro Hegedic, PhD is a Postdoc at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. He is a founder of Lean Startup Croatia and co-founder of the Startup Drill – lean startup educational program. He holds PhD in process optimization models based on lean management from the University of Zagreb. Because of his passion for traveling, business and startups he launched a startup up4talk, where among other things he learned about the application of principles of lean management in startups. He has been working with different teams in process of implementing lean startup principles in their projects, and recently he has done lean startup workshops for teams in Thailand and Malaysia.
